Process Engineer

Dieppe, NB

Master Packaging Inc. is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Process Engineer. In this role, you will be an integral part of our manufacturing team, working on process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives. We are looking for a candidate with a strong foundation in engineering principles, a passion for process improvement, and a willingness to learn and grow with the company.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Electrical).
  • 2-5 years of engineering experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S and six sigma principles and methodologies would be an asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.

Position Responsibilities

This individual will be involved in a variety of technical activities including but not limited to:

  • Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles, including 5S methodology, to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support the development and implementation of lean six sigma projects.
  • Conduct time and motion studies to identify opportunities for process optimization.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of new manufacturing processes.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process effectiveness.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
  • Weekends as needed
