Hourly Rate: $18.66/hr ($2/hr Night Shift / time and a half Sunday Premium)

Rotation: 4 days on, 4 days off (8 Day Rotation)

Shift: 2 Day shifts (6:30 AM to 6:30 PM) followed by 2 Night shifts (6:30 PM to 6:30 AM)

Responsibilities: As a member of a highly energetic and goal-oriented team, you will be mainly responsible for the quality of our finished product and will assist and work cooperatively with the staff as needed in a variety of roles all while following safe practices.

The successful candidate is currently enrolled in a college or university program. Must be multi tasked, result oriented, team player and most importantly willing and able to work 12-hour rotating shifts.

Must be available for work starting early May 2026 until late August.

• Clean, & sanitize stainless steel fixtures and appliances in the washrooms, locker rooms, lunchrooms
• Sanitize door handles, common areas (including administrative area), tables & chairs, countertops
• Ensures washrooms are clean, sanitized, and in proper order
• Replenish supply of amenities such as: toilet paper, paper towel, soap, hand sanitizer, etc.
• Empty garbage and transports garbage from drop points to garbage bins
• Sweep, mop floors and dust furniture, vacuum carpets
• Responsible for operating the commercial floor cleaner and waxer
• Responsible for window cleaning
• Participate in all training relevant and as required
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations as outlined by the Company
• Additional duties may be required from time to time

Position Summary: The Quality Summer Student will be part of a team that performs job duties in an efficient and effective manner all while following Master Packaging Inc. safety and food policies. The Quality Student will:

• ­Accurately inspect and test various production samples and or raw materials per procedures.
• ­Accurately report findings to the necessary personnel and complete necessary documentation.
• ­Utilizing various computer applications to compile, record and report test results.
• ­Perform rechecks, investigate complaints or problems and coordinate with the Quality Manager and FLMs on departmental quality issues.
• ­Generate and distribute appropriate quality reports, and other informational sources for employees and management.
• ­Comply with the company safety programs, singing off annually on the policies
• ­Comply with the company food safety program, signing off annually on the policy
• ­Assist with other duties as assigned

Education Level: Enrolled in an Engineering program, preferably Sciences or CET.

Preferred experience:

• ­Working knowledge of computer programs, including Microsoft Office
• ­Ability to make decisions and be accountable for the outcome
• ­Strong communication skills
• ­Strong organizational skills
• ­Moderate technical competencies

The successful candidate will be Responsible for:

• Maintaining and communicating pricing lists
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with functional areas such as Sales, Costing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Customer Service
• Participating in our Quoting process for new business
• Performing other day-to-day administrative activities as assigned or needed

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

• A degree or diploma in business, with a concentration in finance or accounting
• 1 year of experience, preferably in accounting or finance
• Demonstratable experience with Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel)
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
