Territory Manager – New England

All Locations

Master Packaging Inc. is the Leader of Corrugate and Folding Carton Packaging Solutions. With Manufacturing plants located in Dieppe, New Brunswick and Borden, Prince Edward Island, we are currently seeking a self-motivated and energetic individual to join our team as a Territory Manager to service the New England States.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide creative solutions to engineer win/win outcomes for both the customer and the company.
  • Seek new opportunities and profile new business to ensure there is a constant stream of growth opportunities available within your territory.
  • Create value to both the customer and company by maintaining/growing share, efficient on-boarding of new business, successful project management of complex accounts, and overall quality and service – complete customer satisfaction.
  • Effective Communication and coordination of activities and projects across multiple customers and/or internal stakeholders. You will have a dedicated Customer Solutions Specialist to support your efforts.
  • Keep relevant parties informed about target account development and have a disciplined approach to ensure call cycles are tailored to customer requirements.
  • You have overall responsibility of all accounts within the assigned territory from Order to Cash. Communicating relevant market intelligence and customer specific concerns is required to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • At least 5 years of sales experience with a proven track record of growth and documented success.
  • An overall knowledge of sales and marketing to help link our value proposition and products with clients’ needs.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, attention to detail and the ability to build strong, mutually beneficial, trust-based relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • Broad based general knowledge including current events, news, industry trends, etc.
  • Experience using the suite of Microsoft Office programs.
  • A valid driver’s license.

Nice to have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree.
  • Packaging equipment knowledge, particularly case erectors and case packers.
  • Quality, Design, or Mechanical background/knowledge.
  • Project Management experience.

Procurement Specialist

Dieppe, NB

Master Packaging Inc. the leader of corrugate and folding carton packaging located in Dieppe, New Brunswick and Borden, Prince Edward Island is currently seeking a self-motivated and energetic individual to join our team as a full-time on-site Procurement Specialist.

Responsibilities: Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the end-to-end process of acquiring goods and services in a manufacturing fast paced environment from sourcing to purchase and delivery.
  • Follow company procedures, processes, and RFPs to carry out pre-purchase activities (sourcing, negotiating), purchase activities (order placement, receiving) and post-purchase activities (inventory-audit).
  • Expedite shipments, as required, prioritizing, and supporting manufacturing schedule and on time delivery.
  • Oversee aging lists. Analyze and formulate proposals for the consumption or disposition of stale inventory according to usage of materials and accurate inventory levels.
  • Manage vendor claims related to defective products. Maintain claims log and work closely with vendors towards our target of 30 day or less resolution.
  • Represent the company. Building and maintaining relationships with vendors, ensuring adequate requirements of legal compliance, competitive pricing, and supply options.
  • Provide unconditional support to the team. Help on administrative tasks and other assignments and requests to succeed as a team.
  • Support accounts payable personnel with price and quantity variance issues.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the relevant field.
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in business administration, finance, logistics, or supply chain is needed.
  • Team player attributes. Reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and loyalty are essential to deliver the high-quality performance expected.
  • Effective communication and high-level service skills towards internal departments and operations to comply with the business ongoing demand.
  • As this role supports two plants, occasional travel between sites is required, as well as a valid class 5 drivers’ license.

Maintenance Manager

Borden-Carleton, PE

Master Packaging Inc. the leader of corrugate and folding carton packaging, is currently seeking for a self-motivated and energetic individual who can lead our Maintenance team in the Borden, PE location.

Responsibilities: As a member of a highly energetic and goal-oriented team, you will be mainly responsible for the following:

  • Determine and maintain all maintenance accounts within budget.
  • Responsible for asset management including maximizing utilization, replacement, upgrading, maintenance, and tracking.
  • Supervise maintenance employees and custodians.
  • Coordinate and schedule all plant/building repairs or maintenance, equipment modifications or installations.
  • Manage preventative and predictive maintenance programs to minimize production downtime and increase equipment reliability to enhance product quality.
  • Create training and development programs for maintenance employees.
  • Promote a team working environment through trust, respect, and effective communication.
  • Help department define and measure progress towards organizational goals.
  • Performance management; hiring, coaching, training, performance appraisals, time and attendance management, corrective actions, constructive feedback for performance and efficiency improvement.
  • Accountable for prioritizing, justifying, and providing direction on capital expenditures in collaboration with capital procurement manager.
  • Manage safety standards; provide leadership and direction towards plant wide safety.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing facility, preferably in a maintenance or engineering role.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient with the use of CAD software.
  • Efficient with computers.
  • Understanding of finance and supply chain management.
  • Exposure to Computer Maintenance Management Software (CMMS).
  • Understanding of reliability, preventive, and predictive maintenance concepts.
