Master Packaging Inc., the leader of corrugate and folding carton packaging, located in Borden, PEI is currently seeking self-motivated and energetic students who are available for summer employment for the months of May through September.

Hourly Rate: $18.66/hr ($2/hr Night Shift / time and a half Sunday Premium)

Rotation: 4 days on, 4 days off (8 Day Rotation)

Shift: 2 Day shifts (7 AM to 7 PM) followed by 2 Night shifts (7 PM to 7 AM)

Responsibilities: As a member of a highly energetic and goal-oriented team, you will be mainly responsible for the quality of our finished product and will assist and work cooperatively with the staff as needed in a variety of roles all while following safe practices.

The successful candidate is currently enrolled in a college or university program. Must be multi tasked, result oriented, team player and most importantly willing and able to work 12-hour rotating shifts.

Must be available for work starting early May 2026 until late August.

Maintenance Electrician

Dieppe, NB

Master Packaging Inc. the leader of corrugate and folding carton packaging located in Dieppe NB & Borden- Carleton, PEI is currently seeking a self-motivated and energetic individual to join our team as Maintenance Electrician in the Dieppe, NB location.

Position Requirements:

  • Post-Secondary Education in an electrical trade
  • Licensed Electrician is considered an asset
  • Manufacturing industry experience
  • Strong skills in automation troubleshooting
  • Superior work ethic
  • Knowledge of computer software (e.g. Outlook, Maintenance Software)
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude is considered a strong asset
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Communicate well with others
  • Strong commitment to quality and safety
  • Strong desire to learn new skills and hone existing ones

Position Responsibilities:

This individual will be involved in a variety of technical activities including but not limited to:

  • Isolate and identify system hardware problems and troubleshoot and repair hardware failures.
  • Install, connect, test, operate, modify, repair, and replace controls, fuses, switches, timers, and wiring devices.
  • Operate, calibrate, adjust, clean, service and repair low voltage components.
  • Perform electrical and mechanical preventive maintenance activities.
  • Technically strong
  • Assist Industrial Mechanics in diagnosing and completing mechanical repair tasks
  • Possess excellent communication and priority management skills to enable you to take charge of situations
  • Ability to interact with colleagues, suppliers, and international manufacturers to get the job done right the first time

Experience:

  • Journeyman Electrician: Minimum 1 year (preferred)
  • Dual ticket considered an asset (Industrial Electrician & Mechanic/Millwright)

Pay: CA$38.43 - $44.83 per hour /+ $2 Night Shift / Time and a Half Sunday Premium.

Junior Procurement Specialist

Master Packaging Inc. the leader of corrugate and folding carton packaging located in Dieppe, New Brunswick and Borden, Prince Edward Island is currently seeking a self-motivated and energetic individual to join our team as a full-time on-site Junior Procurement Specialist.

Responsibilities: Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the end-to-end process of acquiring goods and services in a manufacturing fast paced environment from sourcing to purchase and delivery.
  • Follow company procedures, processes, and RFPs to carry out pre-purchase activities (sourcing, negotiating), purchase activities (order placement, receiving) and post-purchase activities (inventory-audit).
  • Expedite shipments, as required, prioritizing, and supporting manufacturing schedule and on time delivery.
  • Oversee aging lists. Analyze and formulate proposals for the consumption or disposition of stale inventory according to usage of materials and accurate inventory levels.
  • Manage vendor claims related to defective products. Maintain claims log and work closely with vendors towards our target of 30 day or less resolution.
  • Represent the company. Building and maintaining relationships with vendors, ensuring adequate requirements of legal compliance, competitive pricing, and supply options.
  • Provide unconditional support to the team. Help on administrative tasks and other assignments and requests to succeed as a team.
  • Support accounts payable personnel with price and quantity variance issues.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in business administration, finance, logistics, or supply chain is needed.
  • Team player attributes. Reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and loyalty are essential to deliver the high-quality performance expected.
  • Effective communication and high-level service skills towards internal departments and operations to comply with the business ongoing demand.
  • As this role supports all operations, occasional travel between sites is required, as well as a valid class 5 drivers’ license.
